National Police Remembrance Day
As Patron of the National Police Memorial in Canberra, the Governor-General joined serving officers and their families on National Police Remembrance Day to remember police force members who have been killed in the line of duty.
Ms Bryce laid a wreath at the Memorial after the reading of the 2012 Honour Roll, which included four additional names: Senior Constable David Rixon and in retrospect Constable James Brewis, Superintendent Joseph McCluskey and Chief District Constable William Bennett.
