Opening Night of Opera Australia's 'Turandot'; President of Nauru; Governor-General of New Zealand

On Tuesday 17 January 2012, at the Sydney Opera House, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO, as guest of the Chief Executive of Opera Australia, Mr Adrian Collette AM, attended the opening night performance of ‘Turandot’.

Earlier, at Admiralty House, Mr Michael Bryce AM AE received the Fine Art Advisor from The Australiana Fund, Ms Sonya Abbey.

Earlier, at Brisbane International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the arrival in Australia of the President of the Republic of Nauru, His Excellency the Honourable Sprent Dabwido MP, by Commander Lachlan King ADC RAN, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp.

Then, at Melbourne International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the arrival in Australia of the Governor-General of New Zealand, His Excellency Lieutenant General the Right Honourable Sir Jeremiah Mateparae, by Brigadier David Shields ADC, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp.
