Opening of the Yarra Valley Grammar Science and Mathematics faculty; Royal Humane Society of Australasia investiture; General Sir John Monash Foundation scholarship ceremony

On Wednesday 18 February 2015, at Yarra Valley Grammar School, Ringwood, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Principal, Dr Mark Merry, officially opened the new Science and Mathematics faculty and later met with students and teachers.

Afterwards, at the Melbourne Town Hall, the Governor-General, as Senior Patron of the Royal Humane Society of Australasia, and Lady Cosgrove, attended a ceremony at which the Governor-General presented the 2014 Clarke Silver Medal to Mr Andrew Capper.

Later, at the Shrine of Remembrance, Melbourne, the Governor-General, as Patron-in-Chief, and Lady Cosgrove, attended the General Sir John Monash Foundation Scholarship Ceremony, at which the Governor-General presented the 2015 awards.
