Oxford University lunch; DFAT graduate trainees
On Wednesday 27 July 2011, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received a farewell call from the Ambassador of the Republic of Ireland, His Excellency Mr Mairtin O’Fainin.
Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE hosted to lunch the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Oxford, Professor Andrew Hamilton, and Mrs Jennifer Hamilton; the Warden of Rhodes House, University of Oxford, Professor Don Markwell; and the Head of Development for Student Support, University of Oxford, Mr Benjamin Plummer-Powell.
Later, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce hosted an afternoon tea for graduate trainees from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
