On Saturday 31 August 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as Patron-in-Chief, and His Excellency Mr Simeon Beckett SC, as guests of Ms Alison Creagh AM CSC, Honorary President, attended the Athletics Program and Medal Presentation Ceremony at the 2024 Paralympic Games. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General participated in an interview with Mr Kurt Fearnley AO for Channel Nine. 

Then, the Governor-General and Mr Beckett travelled from Le Bourget Airport, France to Bahrain International Airport, Bahrain. 

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mr Beckett travelled from Bahrain International Airport, Bahrain to Changi Airport, Singapore.
