Patronages

On Wednesday 22 April 2020, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) spoke with senior representatives of his patronages regarding the impact of COVID-19. This included telephone calls with Ms Dewani Bakkum, Chief Executive Officer, Migrant and Refugee Settlement Services Australia; Ms Adrienne Picone, Chief Executive Officer, Volunteering Australia; Mr Andrew Richardson, Chief Executive Officer, Aruma; Ms Rachel Thomas, Chief Executive Officer, Canberra Symphony Orchestra; and Mr Marcus Barker, Chief Executive Officer, Sydney International Piano Competition.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley spoke with senior representatives of her patronages regarding the impact of COVID-19. This included a teleconference with the coordinators of Paint the Town REaD, and a telephone call with Ms Jane Beer, President, Children’s Medical Research Institute Canberra Committee.
