On Monday 29 April 2019, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as guest of the Commanding Officer, visited the Special Air Service Regiment at Campbell Barracks, Perth.

Afterwards, the Governor-General hosted a morning tea for his Western Australia based patronages at the InterContinental Perth.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General hosted a luncheon for Western Australia-based recipients of honours and awards at InterContinental Perth.

Later, the Governor-General, as guest of Wing Commander Andrew Brandham, Senior ADF Officer, visited RAAF Base Pearce, Perth.

In the evening, the Governor-General attended a dinner with the Honourable Kim Beazley AC, Governor of Western Australia, and Ms Susanna Annus, at Government House, Western Australia.
