On Thursday 29 June 2023, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of His Excellency Nikenike Vurobaravu, President of the Republic of Vanuatu, attended a service at the Paton Memorial Church.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Commander Vanuatu Mobile Force and Acting Police Commissioner, attended the handover of Cooks Barracks, Vanuatu Police Force.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr Nelson Johnson, Chief Executive Officer, visited the Wan Smolbag Theatre.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled from Port Vila, Vanuatu, to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.
