Presentation of Long Tan awards to Major Geoff Kendall MG (Retd) and the late Flight Lieutenant Clifford Dohle DSM.

On Tuesday 17 August 2010, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE hosted a ceremony at which the Governor-General, as Commander-in-Chief, invested Major Geoff Kendall MG (Retd) with the Medal for Gallantry, and presented Mrs Joan Dohle, the next of kin of the late Flight Lieutenant Clifford Dohle DSM, with the Distinguished Service Medal.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce hosted a lunch in honour of Major Geoff Kendall MG (Retd) and the next of kin of the late Flight Lieutenant Clifford Dohle DSM.
