Proclamation; Meeting with Australian service personnel; Camp Baird Memorial service

On Wednesday 22 October 2014, following the departure from Australia of the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), the Proclamation assuming the Administration of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia was signed by the Governor of Queensland, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC.

Afterwards, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as guest of the Commander of Joint Task Force 633, Major General Craig Orme AM CSC, attended a Joint Task Force 633 briefing and met with Task Group 632 personnel.

Later, at the Camp Baird Memorial, the Governor-General attended a wreath laying ceremony, and later met with Australian service personnel working in the Middle East.
