Queen’s Scout and Baden Powell Awards

On Monday 19 November 2012, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO received the Director General of AusAID, Mr Peter Baxter.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Ambassador-designate to the Portuguese Republic, Ms Anne Plunket.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as Chief Scout and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, hosted a reception at which the Governor-General presented the 2012 Queen’s Scout and Baden Powell Awards.

Earlier, at Cairns International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the transit through Australia of the President of the Federated States of Micronesia, His Excellency the Honourable Emanuel Mori, by Commander Wendy Bullen CSM ADC RAN, Honorary Aide-de-Camp.
