Radio 1RPH morning tea; Visit to Cairns

On Monday 11 May 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, hosted a morning tea on the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of Radio 1RPH.

Afterwards, in Cairns, Queensland, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Chairman, Mr Bruce Glanville, opened the Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park's extended buildings.

Later, at James Cook University, Cairns, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Chancellor, Lieutenant General John Grey AC, visited university facilities, received briefings on current research and met with staff.
