Remembrance Day National Ceremony; Afternoon tea for Families of the Fallen

On Tuesday 11 November 2014, at the Australian War Memorial, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as Commander-in-Chief, and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Chairman of the Australian War Memorial Council, Rear Admiral Ken Doolan AO RAN (Retd), attended the Remembrance Day National Ceremony.

Afterwards, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, hosted an afternoon tea for Families of the Fallen.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted a Small Dining Room dinner. Guests included: Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston AC AFC (Retd) and Mrs Liz Houston; Lieutenant General Peter Leahy AC (Retd) and Mrs Lee Leahy; Vice Admiral Chris Ritchie AO RAN (Retd) and Mrs Julia Ritchie; and Vice Admiral Russ Shalders AO CSC RAN (Retd) and Mrs Judy Shalders.
