On Saturday 9 June 2007, at the Royal Military College of Australia, Duntroon, ACT, Their Excellencies the Governor-General, Major General Michael Jeffery AC CVO MC and Mrs Marlena Jeffery attended The Trooping of The Queen's Colour Parade in honour of Her Majesty the Queen's Official Birthday, at which the Governor-General reviewed the Parade.

In the evening, at Brisbane International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the departure from Australia of the King of Malaysia, His Majesty Al-Wathiqu Billah Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah, by Colonel Dennis Scanlan CSM RFD, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp.
