Second National Service Scheme 50th Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony; Farewell dinner for the Chief of Air Force

On Tuesday 30 June 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) received the Chairman, Council for the Order of Australia, Air Chief Marshal Sir Angus Houston AK AFC (Retd) and the Chief Executive Officer, Aspen Medical, Mr Bruce Armstrong.

Afterwards, at the Australian War Memorial, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the National President, Major Earle Jennings AM RFD (Retd), attended the Second National Service Scheme 50th Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony at which Their Excellencies laid a wreath and the Governor-General delivered the keynote address.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted a farewell dinner for the Chief of Air Force, Air Marshall Geoffrey Brown AO.
