On Friday 24 January 2020, Their Excellencies, General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley transited through Singapore, and were met by His Excellency Mr Bruce Gosper, High Commissioner to Singapore.

Earlier, the Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, His Excellency the Honourable Hieu Van Le AC, and Mrs Lan Le hosted a reception for the 2020 Australian of the Year Award Finalists on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the awards, at Government House, Canberra.
