Special Envoy of the Emir of the State of Kuwait; University of Canberra dinner

On Thursday 9 December 2010, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received the Special Envoy of the Emir of the State of Kuwait, His Excellency Mr Khalid Yousef Al-Falaij.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the High Commissioner-Designate to the Kingdom of Tonga, Mr Thomas Roth.

Later, the Governor-General received the Ambassador-Designate to the Federative Republic of Brazil, Mr Brett Hackett.

Then, the Governor-General, as Patron, received the Founding Director of Yalari, Mr Waverley Stanley.

In the evening, at the Ann Harding Conference Centre, University of Canberra, Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended a dinner for Emeritus Professors and Honorary Degree Holders.
