St Vincent de Paul’s Micah House and Edel Quinn House visit; Lunch

On Friday 3 October 2014, in Wagga Wagga, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Executive Director of the Wagga Wagga Central Council of the St Vincent de Paul Society, Mr Mike Riley, and Mr Des Goonan, visited Micah House and met with staff and clients.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Services Manager, Mr Peter Quarmby, met with staff and clients at St Vincent de Paul’s Edel Quinn House.

Later, at the Pavilion Hotel, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, attended a lunch hosted in their honour by the Mayor of Wagga Wagga, Councillor Rod Kendall.
