State Visit to China - Opening of ‘The Chungking Legation: Australia's diplomatic mission to wartime China’ exhibition

During a State Visit to the People’s Republic of China, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Vice Mayor of Chongqing, Mr Chen Luping, opened ‘The Chungking Legation: Australia’s diplomatic mission to wartime China’ exhibition at the Old Australian Legation Building and met with the Australian community in Chongqing.
