State Visit by the Governor-General of New Zealand; Visit to Uluru-Kata National Park; Call by the Party Secretary, Guangdong Province, People’s Republic of China; The Australian Ballet afternoon tea; National Defence College of India reception

On Tuesday 26 May 2015, at Ayres Rock Resort, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, accompanied by the Governor-General of New Zealand, His Excellency Lieutenant General the Right Honourable Sir Jerry Mateparae, and Lady Janine Mateparae, visited the National Indigenous Training Academy at Yulara.

Later, at Government House, the Governor-General received the Party Secretary of the Guangdong Province of the People’s Republic of China, His Excellency Mr Hu Chunhua and his accompanying delegation.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as Patron, and Lady Cosgrove, hosted an afternoon tea for the dancers and artistic staff of The Australian Ballet.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted a reception for participants of the 55th Course of the National Defence College of India.
