State Visit to the People’s Republic of China

On Wednesday 23 October 2013, in Chengdu, China, the Governor-General the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO, as guest of the Vice Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, Mr Wang Yang, and the Governor of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government, Mr Wei Hong, attended the opening of the West China International Fair International Cooperation Forum and met with Vice Premier Wang and gave an address.

Afterwards, at Chengdu International Airport, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE were farewelled from their state visit to the People’s Republic of China by the Australian Consul General to Chengdu, Ms Nancy Gordon.
