Swearing-in Ceremony

On Wednesday 3 July 2013, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO issued the Oath of Office to the Honourable Amanda Rishworth MP as Parliamentary Secretary for the Environment and Urban Water, and Parliamentary Secretary for Disabilities and Carers.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Chief Executive Officer of Chief Executive Women, Mrs Julie White.

Later, the Governor-General received Australian Actress, Ms Jane Harders.

Earlier, in Hobart, the Governor-General was represented at the State Memorial Service for the late Honourable Michael Hodgman AM QC, by Colonel Stephen Carey ADC, Honorary Aide-de-Camp.

Afterwards, at Brisbane International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the departure from Australia of the Governor-General of the Solomon Islands, His Excellency Sir Frank Ofagioro Kabui, by Group Captain Brian Duddington AM ADC, Honorary Aide-de-Camp.
