On Friday 26 July 2019, Their Excellencies, General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of Mr Nicholas Pappas AM, Chairman, South Sydney Rabbitohs, and Mr Blake Solly, CEO, South Sydney Rabbitohs, attended a rugby league match between the South Sydney Rabbitohs and St George Illawarra Dragons at ANZ Stadium.
