On Friday 7 March 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as guest of Mr Paul Singer CVO, participated in and hosted a breakfast for Soldier On's 'March On Challenge'.

Then, the Governor-General participated in a phone call with Councillor Chris Cherry, Mayor, Tweed Shire Council. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of Ms Simone Clarke, Chief Executive Officer, attended a UN Women Australia, International Women's Day lunch.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General received His Excellency Reverend Sir David Tiva Kapu GCMG, Governor-General of the Solomon Islands. 

Later, the Governor-General received Ms Cressida Strachan, Program Director at the Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership.
