On Wednesday 22 February 2023, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) as a guest of Mr Shane Phillips, Chief Executive Officer, attended a Tribal Warrior boxing session at the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence.

Afterwards, the Governor-General as Patron, and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley, hosted an awards ceremony and morning tea for SchoolAid.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a lunch for the American Australian Association. Guests included Mr John Berry, President; Mr Craig Chapman, Chair; Mr Curtis Yee and Mrs Susie Chapman.
