On Wednesday 07 February 2024, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), as guest of Mr Shane Phillips, Chief Executive Officer, attended a Tribal Warrior boxing session at the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence.
In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley hosted an afternoon tea for Australians for Mental Health.
In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr Daniel Herbert, Chair, Rugby Australia, attended the 2023 Rugby Australia Awards.
