On Friday 22 March 2024, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), as guest of Mr Shane Phillips, Chief Executive Officer, attended a Tribal Warrior boxing session at the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence.

Then, the Governor-General and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley hosted a morning tea for members and supporters of the Centre for Relational Care. 

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley received senior representatives of the Australian Rotary Emergency Services Community Awards including Mr Murray Kear AFSM; Mr Shane Fitzsimmons AM AFSM; Mr Warwick Richardson; Mr Grant Hocking; Mr Wayne Jeffs; and Ms Dorothy Hennessy OAM.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received, Ms Michelle Endacott, Chief Executive Officer, The Prince’s Trust Australia. 

Then, the Governor-General received Mr Steven Jones AM, Chief Executive Officer, Daborra, and Mrs Soudabeh Jones.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as Joint Patrons, hosted a roundtable discussion with Ambassadors of Bus Stop Films.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a reception for Bus Stop Films
