On Wednesday 4 March 2020, Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley received Ms Brooke Donnelly, Chief Executive Officer, Australian Packaging Covenant; Ms Lily Barnett, Program Manager; Australian Packaging Covenant and Ms Rebecca Gilling, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Planet Ark at Admiralty House, Sydney.

Afterwards, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) received Dr Jamal Rifi AM, Australia Day Ambassador at Admiralty House.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted an afternoon tea for Cure Cancer to announce the early career cancer researchers.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled to Canberra, Australia Capital Territory and returned to Government House.

In the evening, the Governor-General received The Honourable Greg Hunt MP, Minister for Health; Ms Wendy Black, Chief of Staff to the Minister for Health; Professor Paul Kelly, Deputy Chief Medical Officer and Mr Sam Develin, Senior Advisor to the Minister for Health for a call.
