On Monday 29 May 2023, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), as guest of Mr Shane Phillips, Chief Executive Officer, attended a Tribal Warrior boxing session at the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley travelled from Sydney, New South Wales, to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.

Earlier, the Governor-General was represented at the Art Gallery of New South Wales for the State Memorial Service of Dr John Olsen AO OBE by Honorary Aide-de-Camp Colonel John Hutcheson AM HADC.
