On Sunday 25 February 2024, Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley, as Patron of the Lysicrates Foundation, and His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) attended the 8th Lysicrates Play Competition.  

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled from Sydney, New South Wales, to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.
