On Monday 5 August 2024, Their Excellencies The Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC and Mr Simeon Beckett SC, as guests of Ms Julliette McMurray, Principal, visited and met with students at Fort Street High School.  

Then, the Governor-General recorded a video message for the Australian Olympic Team. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Ms Samantha Trenoweth, News and Features Editor, Australian Women’s Weekly.  

Later, the Governor-General travelled from Sydney, New South Wales, to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.
