Sydney, New South Wales; Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

On Wednesday 14 August 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC as guest of Mr Matt Carroll AM, Chief Executive Officer, Australian Olympic Committee, and Ms Vanessa Hudson, Chief Executive Officer, Qantas, attended the Australian Olympic Team Welcome Home. 

Then, the Governor-General travelled from Sydney, New South Wales to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.  

Later, the Governor-General as guest of Dr Doug Hilton AO, Chief Executive Officer, visited and met with staff at CSIRO Canberra.  

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Ms Maggie Beer AO, Founder, and Ms Petrina Baker, Board Member, Maggie Beer Foundation.
