On Tuesday 3 December 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as guest of Mr Phillip Heath, Headmaster, visited the Marri Mittigar School at Baker College.  

Then, the Governor-General as guest of Phillipa McGuiness, Editor, attended the ‘Library the Made Me’ event at the State Library of New South Wales.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Ms Sharon Callister, Chief Executive Officer and Mr Ian Hammond, Board Chair, Mission Australia.  

In the Evening, the Governor-General as Patron and guest of Tracey Corbin-Matchett OAM, Chief Executive Officer, attended the National Showcase Tour of Bus Stop Films.  

Later, the Governor-General travelled from Sydney, New South Wales to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.
