On Tuesday 5 November 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as guest of Professor Ian Hickie AO and Emeritus Professor Kathryn Refshauge OAM, Co-Directors, attended the Brain and Mind Centre 2024 Symposium.  

Then, the Governor-General travelled from Sydney, New south Wales, to Melbourne, Victoria. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General as guest of Mr Neil Wilson, Chairman, presented the 2024 Melbourne Cup.

Then, the Governor-General travelled from Melbourne, Victoria, to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. 

In the evening, the Governor-General as guest of Senator the Honourable Penny Wong, attended the 50^th anniversary of the Australian NGO Cooperation Program.
