On Monday 22 October 2018, at Quay Centre, Sydney Olympic Park, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as Ambassador of the Invictus Games, and Lady Cosgrove, watched the indoor rowing competition, and presented medals for the women’s indoor rowing four-minute endurance event. The Governor-General presented the silver medal to Ms Tiff White, and Lady Cosgrove presented the bronze medal to Ms Sarah Petchell, with both athletes representing Australia.

Afterwards, at the Tennis Centre, Sydney Olympic Park, Their Excellencies watched the wheelchair tennis, as guests of Ms Lynne Anderson, Board Director Invictus Games.

Later, at the Invictus Games Dining Hall, Sydney Olympic Park, Their Excellencies met with Australian athletes competing in the Invictus Games.
