On Sunday 21 October 2018, at Royal Botanical Gardens, Sydney, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as Ambassador of the Invictus Games, and Lady Cosgrove, attended the cycling time trials, as guests of Ms Renee Wilson, Board Director, Invictus Games.

Afterwards, Their Excellencies met with the President of the Republic of Estonia, Her Excellency, Ms Kersti Kaljulaid and watched the Hansa dinghy sailing competition.

Later, Their Excellencies watched the final of the Elliott 7 final, at which the Australian team won, as guests of Lieutenant General Peter Leahy AC (Retd), Chair, Invictus Games.

Then, Their Excellencies presented medals at the men’s Hansa dinghy sailing victory ceremony.
