Technical Aid to the Disabled; Parramatta Mission; University of Western Sydney; SydWest Multicultural Services; Butucarbin Aboriginal Corporation
On Friday 8 July 2011, at Northmead, New South Wales, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC visited the Technical Aid to the Disabled (New South Wales) Headquarters.
Afterwards, at the Leigh Memorial Church, Parramatta, the Governor-General visited the Parramatta Mission and assisted volunteers with the lunch service.
Later, at Parramatta, the Governor-General, as guest of the Vice Chancellor and President, Professor Janice Reid AM, visited the University of Western Sydney.
In the afternoon, at Blacktown, the Governor-General visited SydWest Multicultural Services and met with groups attending community programs.
Afterwards, at Blacktown Arts Centre, the Governor-General met with staff, volunteers and students participating in Butucarbin Aboriginal Corporation’s youth development programs.
