Toowoomba Grammar School; General Sir John Monash 2011 Scholarships

On Wednesday 16 March 2011, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC, in recognition of the 30,000th school student to visit Government House since September 2008, met with students from Toowoomba Grammar School.

Afterwards, the Governor-General hosted the General Sir John Monash 2011 Scholarships and presented the scholarships.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as Patron, received Chief Executive Officer of Open Family Australia, Dr Emma Cassar.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as Patron, received the National Chief Executive Officer of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award in Australia, Ms Kim Brislane, and Chairman, Mr Tim Quin.
