On Tuesday 15 June 2010, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the High Commissioner to the Republic of Singapore, Mr Doug Chester, and Mrs Lyn Chester. Later, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE hosted an afternoon tea to mark the occasion of the 84th birthday of Her Majesty The Queen. Then, Mr Bryce, as Patron, hosted a reception to launch the opening of the Capital Arts Patrons Organisation 2010 grant round.
