On Tuesday 25 May 2010, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC, as Patron-in-Chief, hosted a morning tea for participants of the 5th International Working Group on Women and Sport World Conference.

In the afternoon, at Parliament House, Sydney, the Governor-General, as Patron, delivered an address at the Alzheimer's Australia NSW women's lunch ???Australian Women ??? Today and Tomorrow'. Afterwards, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General, as Patron of Palliative Care Australia, and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, hosted an afternoon tea in recognition of National Palliative Care Week 2010. Later, the Governor-General, as Patron, and Mr Bryce hosted a reception for the Eye Foundation. Earlier, Mr Bryce received Coordinator, State Emergency Services Queensland, Mr Robert Hartley and Mrs Fiona Hartley.
