Visit to the flood-affected areas of Horsham, Natimuk, Charlton, Kerang, and Rochester, Victoria

On Friday 21 January 2011, at Horsham, Victoria, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE met with members of the local community affected by the recent floods.

Afterwards, at Natimuk, Victoria, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce met with members of the Natimuk and Quantong communities affected by the recent flooding.

In the afternoon, at Charlton, Victoria, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce inspected flood damage to local properties and businesses, and visited the Community Relief Centre.

Afterwards, at Kerang, Victoria, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce met with staff, volunteers and community residents at the Kerang and District Hospital (Municipal Emergency Centre).

Later, at Rochester, Victoria, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce met with residents and local business owners affected by the recent floods.
