Visit to the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital; Call by the Speaker of the Turkish Parliament; Dinner

On Wednesday 24 September 2014, at Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital, Melbourne, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Chief Executive Office of Austin Health, Dr Brendan Murphy, and Mr Mark Johnston, received a presentation on the art therapy program and the concept for the Australian Veterans Arts Museum.

Afterwards, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General received the Speaker of the Turkish Parliament, His Excellency Mr Cemil Çiçek, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, His Excellency Mr Reha Keskintepe.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, hosted to dinner the Governor-designate of New South Wales, General David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley; and Chairman of Trustees of the St Vincent’s Curran Foundation, Mr Charles Curran AC.
