Visit to Kununurra

On Sunday 22 June 2014, in Kununurra, Western Australia, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove attend a service at St James Anglican Church.

Afterwards, at Celebrity Tree Park, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove planted a commemorative tree at a community morning tea hosted in their honour by the Shire President, Wyndham-East Kimberley Shire, Councillor John Moulden.

Later, at the Goomig Farmlands, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Chief Executive Officer of Kimberley Agricultural Investment, Mr Jian Zhong Yin, and General Manager, Mr Jim Engelke, visited the Ord Stage 2 development.

Then, in Kununurra, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Managing Director, TFS Corporation, Mr Frank Wilson, visited the Mount Romance Sandalwood factory.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Manager, Mr Mark Warmington, visited the Department of Agriculture and Food Research Station.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the owners, Mrs Frauke Bolten-Boshammer and Mr Frank Boshammer, visited Kimberley Fine Diamonds.
