Visit to North Queensland

On Sunday 11 May 2014, in Townsville, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Chairman, Mr Peter Davies CBE, and the Managing Director, Mr Chris McHugh CSC, met with staff and guests at the Mates4Mates Family Recovery Centre.

Afterwards, at Perc Tucker Regional Gallery, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Mayor of Townsville Regional Council, Councillor Jenny Hill, attended a Civic Reception.

Later, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Councillor Jenny Hill, attended a dinner hosted in their honour.
