Visit to the United Kingdom

On Wednesday 30 July 2014, in London, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Managing Director, Mr Adam Leishman, visited the Australian owned company Tower Transit.

Afterwards, at ANZ Bank Canary Wharf, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Head of Transactions Banking, Mr Peter Sargent, received a briefing on operations and viewed the trading floor.

Later, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of ANZ Regional Head, Mr Richard Houston, attended a lunch with leading Australian bankers operating in the United Kingdom.

Then, at Kensington, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, received a briefing on the Invictus Games from the Head of Invictus Games Military Engagement, Colonel David Norris.
