On Friday 16 March 2018, at Wagga Wagga, NSW, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as Commander-in-Chief and Reviewing Officer, and Lady Cosgrove attended the Number 1 Recruitment Training Unit Governor-General’s Banner Consecration Parade, at which the Governor-General presented the new replacement banner.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Chairman Lansdowne Club Australia, Mr Philip Cronin, attended the

St Patrick’s Day 2018 lunch and met with Irish and Australian business community leaders.

Later, at Sydney International Airport, the Governor-General was represented by the Official Secretary to the Governor-General, Mr Mark Fraser LVO OAM for the arrival to Australia of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, His Excellency Joko Widodo and the Sultan of Brunei, His Excellency Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah Ibni.
