On Wednesday 19 May 2010, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC, as Patron, and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, hosted a reception for the National Breast and Ovarian Cancer Centre to commemorate their 15th anniversary.

Earlier, at Brisbane International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the departure from Australia of the Governor-General of the Solomon Islands, His Excellency Mr Frank Ofagioro Kabui CSI CMG OBE by Colonel Dennis Scanlan CSM RFD ADC, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp. Afterwards, at Sydney Town Hall, the Governor-General was represented at the State Funeral for the late the Honourable Jeffrey Shaw QC, by Colonel Michael Miller RFD ADC, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp.
