Afterwards, the Governor-General received the President of the Legislative Council of Victoria, the Honourable Robert Smith MLC, and the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Victoria, the Honourable Jenny Lindell MP. Later, the Governor-General received the Leader of the Opposition of Victoria, Mr Ted Baillieu MP. Then, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce received Honorary Aides-de-Camp to the Governor-General, Group Captain Phillip Lavelle ADC and Wing Commander Mark Masini ADC. Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Victoria, the Honourable Justice Marilyn Warren AC. In the afternoon, the Governor-General received the Lord Mayor of Melbourne, the Right Honourable Robert Doyle.
