On Wednesday 24 February 2010, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE received the Administrator of the Northern Territory, His Honour Mr Tom Pauling AO QC and Mrs Tessa Pauling.

Later, the Governor-General, as Patron of Professional Centre of Australia Helping Hand, received the President, Mr Brian Jarman and the Secretary, Mrs Ruth Inall. In the evening, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce hosted a dinner in honour of the Artistic Director of Opera Australia, Mr Lyndon Terracini.
