On Wednesday, 25 July 2007, Their Excellencies, the Governor-General Major General Michael Jeffery AC CVO MC and Mrs Marlena Jeffery received a farewell call by the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland, His Excellency Mr Jerzy Wieclaw and Ms Bogumila Wieclaw.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Jeffery received a farewell call by the Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary, His Excellency Mr Lajos Fodor and Dr Eva Fodor. Later, the Governor-General received Major General Digger James AC MBE MC (Retd), Director, Pratt Industries, and Mr Sam Lipske AM, Chief Executive, The Pratt Foundation.
